Was good until we found a blowfly in our beef with oyster sauce
Normally have Chinese at the other shop up the road. We were very disappointed with the food. Dim sims gluggy and undercooked mains did not taste very nice and had rice through the satay beef. We asked for no rice. Threw most of this meal out.
Well, we normally go to the other Chinese restaurant in Gisborne but it was closed.So we thought we'd try this one.Wish we hadn't wasted our money.Pork in batter with sweet and sour sauce, so dry and crunchy, the sauce, nothing sour about it only sweet.The beef with steak and vegetables absolutely no flavour.Fried rice over boiled gluggy rice, again no flavour and not sure if it was actually ever fried in a pan.Very disappointed, especially when we were there just after opening hours tonight at 5 pm.You'd think it would be fresh, fresh fresh, not hospital bland food.Michael.
i did an order online which is extremely convenient. The food is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. Will be back for another visit again.
