When I booked they didnt understand what I was asking for and did not allow enough time. Meaning they rushed while doing my hair, and made me feel bad for taking up to much time.Ive been here twice and both times I have come out utterly disappointed with the way my hair looked. They had no idea what I was asking for and didnt come close to what I wanted. The last time I came I had my hair dyed - bleached. After an excruciating pain on getting the tip cap on the dye leaked from my hair and on my clothes. Then they left the dye on to long that it burnt my scalp (the only reason they even thought to take the dye out was because I told them it was hurting me). My hair turned out much MUCH lighter then I wanted. I am utterly disappointed by this place and will NOT be coming back.
Charged $48 for a poor, rushed haircut. I was in the chair for no more than 10 minutes. My hair wasn't even washed or made wet for cutting. Really disappointed with the cut - it doesn't sit properly and wasn't nicely finished. Waste of money and upsetting experience. I've now booked in elsewhere to get a re-cut.
The vibe and quality of hairdressers is the best at Kiah Hair and Beauty I love driving to Gisborne to get my hair done.
